MDC is deeply committed to supporting student mental well-being by offering comprehensive resources that go beyond traditional counseling services. Licensed mental health professionals provide confidential, one-on-one counseling sessions across all campuses, ensuring students have timely access to qualified care. Through the Mantra Hub, students can also connect virtually with licensed providers, access self-guided wellness tools, and receive ongoing support tailored to their schedules. In addition, the College coordinates workshops, peer-support initiatives, crisis referral pathways, and wellness education programs that equip students with practical coping skills and knowledge. By combining direct counseling, innovative digital services like the Mantra Hub, and preventive community-based supports, the College fosters a campus culture where mental health is prioritized as an essential part of student success.

Padron – Friday 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Virtual Mental Health Counseling Schedule

Sessions are available during the day, after hours, and Saturday
Monday - Fridays 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Saturdays - 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Counselors are available on campus during the day and after-hours throughout the week including Saturdays. Students may receive up to 8 free hour-long sessions where they can speak confidentially with a licensed counselor. Sessions during the day will be held in person (on campus). When filling out the form, please select either in person or virtual. Student's enrollment in courses for the current semester is required.

After-hours sessions, including Saturdays, are only held virtually. MDC is collaborating with Mantra Health to offer virtual mental health care through a confidential and secure patient portal. The portal provides seamless communication with your provider through a messaging system and video calls.
