The Honors College helps you earn a high-quality academic foundation with minimal debt while also funding opportunities that expand your learning beyond the classroom.

Tuition and Scholarship Support

Don’t Get Into Debt

The general education received at The Honors College closely mirrors that of many transfer institutions meaning you can build a strong academic foundation while staying close to home at little or no cost.

Once qualified applicants are accepted, they may receive the Honors College Fellows Award, which covers in-state tuition, fees, and books. This allows students to use other scholarships for living expenses and supplies, reducing debt and the need for student loans.

We also support students in applying for scholarships and financial aid to help with costs after graduating from The Honors College including prestigious awards such as the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship (up to $40,000 per year).

The Stamps Enrichment Fund

The Stamps Enrichment Fund recognizes exceptional Miami Dade College Honors College students who maintain a 3.9 GPA by providing financial support for opportunities outside of the classroom. These experiences are designed to enhance students’ academic, professional, and leadership development.

The Stamps Enrichment Fund is proudly funded by benefactor E. Roe Stamps.

Eligible Enrichment Opportunities May Include:

  • Academic and professional conferences
  • Leadership development programs and workshops
  • Research-related enrichment experiences
  • International and domestic educational travel aligned with academic or professional goals
  • Other approved enrichment activities that support student growth
