Program Overview

The Professional Nursing (LPN-RN) program is designed to provide individuals with a streamlined pathway to transition from a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to a Registered Nurse (RN) through a comprehensive and focused curriculum. Specialized courses will ensure that students receive a comprehensive education that not only prepares them for the RN license examination but also equips them with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care across various healthcare settings.

    The program aligns stacking credentials from nursing assistant and practical nursing through professional nursing and uses scaffolded nursing education to provide an expansion of the student’s learning and development of higher-order thinking skills.

The Professional Nursing (LPN-RN) CTC will serve as the bridge for LPNs seeking to advance their careers and expand their scope of practice. The approved 900-hour career technical certificate in Professional Nursing (LPN-RN) provides the necessary skills and knowledge to provide care across various healthcare settings.
