Parent Café

Parent Cafe is highly beneficial for both parents and their children. Firstly, it creates a supportive and collaborative learning environment where parents play an active role in their child's education. By being involved in their child's preschool experience, parents gain a deeper understanding of their child's development, strengths, and areas for growth. This involvement allows parents to provide more personalized support at home, reinforcing learning and fostering a positive attitude toward education.Furthermore, parent engagement strengthens the parent-child bond and builds trust between parents, teachers, and the school community. When parents are actively involved in their child's preschool, they develop a sense of ownership and investment in their child's academic journey. This, in turn, leads to increased communication between parents and teachers, allowing for the sharing of valuable insights, concerns, and goals regarding the child's development.

Parent Cafe positively impacts parental well-being and confidence. When parents feel supported and informed about their child's learning, they experience less stress and anxiety, leading to a more positive parenting experience. Moreover, actively participating in preschool activities and events allows parents to connect with other families, fostering a sense of belonging and community.

Parent Cafe is beneficial as it enhances children's learning outcomes, strengthens family relationships, and promotes a collaborative partnership between parents and educators. Through active involvement in their child's preschool experience, parents can significantly and positively impact their child's development and future academic success.

Student Parent

The Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) grant program offers invaluable benefits for student-parents by providing access to free or subsidized childcare services while they pursue their education. Firstly, the grant alleviates a significant financial burden for student-parents by covering some or all of the costs associated with childcare, including tuition, fees, and other expenses. This financial support enables student-parents to focus on their studies without worrying about the high costs of childcare, making higher education more accessible and attainable. Moreover, access to quality childcare services through the CCAMPIS grant ensures that student-parents can attend classes, complete assignments, and participate in extracurricular activities without disruptions. This support contributes to higher academic achievement and retention rates among student-parents, as they can better balance their roles as students and parents.

Additionally, the CCAMPIS grant often provides access to educational and support services tailored to the unique needs of student-parents and their children. These services may include parenting workshops, counseling, academic advising, and referrals to community resources, enhancing student-parents and their families' overall well-being and success.
