PROGRAM BENEFITS
The Early Childhood Educator Preapprenticeship Program is a six-month program that prepares participants for entry-level roles in Early Childhood Education through hands-on experience, mentoring, and classroom instruction. Students earn a Florida Department of Children and Family (DCF) training certification, receive college credit toward an Early Childhood Education credential, and participate in paid work-based learning opportunities compensated at $15 per hour. Free tuition is provided to all participants.
