PROGRAM BENEFITS

The Aircraft Structural Technician Apprenticeship is a two-year Registered Apprenticeship Program. It includes 80-hours of paid, entry-level classroom instruction, conducted at MDC's Eig-Watson School of Aviation at Miami International Airport. Upon completion of this entry-level training, apprentices join Commercial Jet, Inc. as an Aircraft Structural Technician during the day and attend classes at MDC a few nights a week.
This program is designed for persons who aspire to become Master Craftsmen as aircraft technicians. Students learn to perform structural assemblies, modifications and repairs on commercial aircraft.
